Comcast UnCivil Corporatism

The Comcast appeal will be back in court JUNE 2020 US Supreme Court Justices are deliberating both the financial & racial issues of the case.

Personally, after reading the 9th court ruling & doing a little research An entire Pandora's box of Comcast issues popped up. For example, there's an entire Wiki page dedicated to Comcast Complaints if you have time to go thru them all. Bottom line is Corporate greed & racism should have no space for growth.

History

Immediately following the Civil War and the ratification of the Thirteenth Amendment to the federal constitution, Congress enacted the Civil Rights Act of 1866, a wide-ranging ban on race discrimination. Part of this Act, eventually codified as 42 U.S.C. § 1981

(“Section 1981”) addressed the problem of race discrimination in contracting. It provides that “[a]ll persons within the jurisdiction of the United States shall have the same right . . . to make and enforce contracts . . . as is enjoyed by white citizens. . . .”
